Mevagissey St Peter's Church

New legislations dictate that all liveable buildings must have an Energy Performance Certificate with the exception of schools and community buildings, as they tend to be difficult to fully assess and are usually ideal for Solar PV due to the nature of their use. This exemption does not however, include churches.

Ground Mounted System to Power Caravans

This beautiful ground mounted system was put up in around 4 days - with all cabling protected to ensure any animals (especially lamas) did not chew through them! The 10Kwp system produces around 8584 kwh per year to power the farm and caravan sites.

Cornwall's Largest PV Roof Installation

The Renewable Energy Co-operative installs Cornwalls's Largest OFGEM Registered Roof Mounted PV Installation on Prestigious Truro School.

The 1st August saw yet another government reduction in the FiTs (feed-in-tariffs)  and with this came a rush of projects in the months leading up to it. The Renewable Energy Co-operative (R-ECO) experienced an increase in sales over June and July and worked tirelessly to ensure all projects were completed before the deadline.

10 kW System Installed on Agricultural Building Qualifies for FiT!

This 10kW system was installed on an agricultural building housing a variety of farm animals including alpacas, goats and sheep.  R-ECO worked carefully around the fragile roof to install the system whilst considering the animals below and avoided making too much noise.

Manchester Housing Co-operative

R-ECO was contacted by the Manchester Housing Co-operative to renovate a mid terrace Victorian property as a case study for how inner city buildings can be made energy efficient whilst offering benefits to the tenants, property owners and local industry. R-ECO was delighted to help develop this model through the installation of roof integrated solar slates.

R-ECO install on their own Office

R-ECO have utilised office roof space at Mount Wellington Mine Eco Park by installting 10 Kilowatts of solar PV on a metal sheet roof to contribute to the sites green attributes. The Solar photovoltaic panels are part of a number of renewable energy technologies on the eco park site that supply on site businesses with everything from electricity to hot water. The PV system has been fitted with a wireless monitoring system which enables us to monitor the systems performance at all times from the internet and office; a feature which is available for any installation.

Exeter Forum

R-ECO installed a 15.5Kw roof mounted Solar PV system on a flat roof ballast  on top of business premises in the centre of Exeter.
